Not resolved

on our last full day in mexico, we attended the vida presenations. long story short, we wanted to go after 2 hours, they would not let us go and we stayed for 8 hours and got brainwashed into buying.

that night after we got back to our hotel, we felt horrible about this and decided to cancel the contract. the next day is our flight day and we managed to get into the resort and find the sales office and talked to a member service representative. we told her straight up we wanted to cancel. she offered us a new deal, we rejected it, then she transferred us to another man, who offered us another deal, we rejected it.

then it came to the getting our down payment back. according to them, the money was returned, what they got to show for that is just a photocopy of the initial transaction receipt with a VOID on it. and a letter with 2 lines saying the contract was canceled. when we flew back home and checked our account, the money was not returned, then we examined the only signed documentation we have, it was not even a proper letter!

the signature did not have a name under it! they basically STOLE our money!!!!!!!!!!

We like many others have a horror story with vida and am out a lot of money hard earned. Did you ever get anything resolved?

I find it hard to believe there are a few stories on here that people are saying they got it resolved to their satisfaction. Since customer service will not get back to you whatsoever.

I don't know how these people can live with themselves.
